- Our capacity for private events is 55 people.
- All private events incur a Buyout Fee.
- All private events have a $500 Beverage Minimum per hour.
- Food does not count toward the Beverage Minimum.
- Private events have a 3 hour minimum. 2 hour minimum considered case-by-case.

FAQs
How do the Buyout Fee and Beverage Minimum work?
The Beverage Minimum is $500 per hour for all events. The Buyout Fee varies by day and time. For example, if your event is Sunday from 12PM-3PM, you’d pay a $225 Buyout Fee + $1,500 Beverage Minimum = $1,725. If your event is Saturday from 8PM-11PM, you’d pay a $3,225 Buyout Fee + $1,500 Beverage Minimum = $4,725.
What counts toward the Beverage Minimum?
The Beverage Minimum is the minimum that you agree to spend on beverages for attendees during your event. Open bar packages and all beverages ordered and consumed during the event count toward the Beverage Minimum.
Are sales tax and gratuity included?
Rates do not include sales tax and gratuity. 20% gratuity for staff is added to all beverage and food items.
What about food?
Here is our food menu for large groups. You can also pre-order anything a la carte from our regular menu.
What about open bar packages?
We have a House Open Bar for $22 per person per hour and a Premium Open Bar for $26 per person per hour. Email us at [email protected] for more info.
Can attendees pay with separate tabs?
Sometimes, upon request, your guests can cover their own tabs to meet the Beverage Minimum. If your guests’ combined tabs do not meet the minimum, you pay the difference. Separate tabs are not possible for all events. Email us at [email protected] for more info.

Can I control the music?
Upon request, you can play your own music from your own device during the event. Your device can connect to our sound system via a 3.5mm audio headphone jack. Another option is to share a Spotify playlist with us at the start of your event and play it from our device.
Does Gadfly Bar host non-private events?
Yes! We host non-private events for up to 30 people. Email us at [email protected] to book a non-private event.
